No reasonable person would believe Apple’s iPhone ad

Wired magazine reports that Apple has claimed in court that no reasonable person would believe its iPhone ad.
Apple is being sued by San Diego resident William Gillis for misleading advertising. Mr Gillis claims that the new iPhone 3G is not “twice as fast for half the price” when compared to the original iPhone.

Joe Satriani v Coldplay – was his song copied?

Legendary guitarist Joe Satriani is suing hit group Coldplay for copyright infringement.
He claims that Coldplay copied substantial parts of his 2004 song If I could fly (listen here, track 6 on album list) for their hit Viva la vida. Coldplay have denied copying, saying that any similarities are coincidental.

Kate Hudson and celebrity hairdresser sued for theft of trade secrets

220 Laboratories Inc., a manufacturer of skin and body products, has sued actress Kate Hudson and celebrity hairdresser David Babaii for theft of trade secrets, fraud and breach of contract.
